Hi, I’m Jade Clay — and yes, my website name does give that away… so we’ll just roll with it.
Born on 26th November 1989 and proudly raised in the seaside town of Cleethorpes, my journey into beauty started early and naturally grew into a career I truly love. After years of hands-on experience across makeup artistry and the wider beauty industry, I founded Jade Clay Hair & Makeup Artist in 2016 — bringing my own vision, style, and standards to life.
I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, enhancing features, building confidence, and creating results that feel polished, natural, and completely personal. Every treatment I offer is tailored to you — your face, your lifestyle, and your expectations — because no two clients (or brows) should ever be the same.

Bridal hair and makeup isn’t just my career — it’s been my calling for as long as I can remember. From designing wedding dresses in primary school to becoming a bridal beauty specialist with over 15 years of experience, my love for weddings has always been written into my story.
I officially established my business in 2016, but my journey began long before that. Today, I’m proud to work across the UK and internationally, with six European wedding destinations under my belt so far — and many more to come. Wherever love takes you, I’m always ready to travel.
I specialise in luxury bridal hair and makeup, creating timeless, elevated looks that enhance you, never overpower you. But my role goes far beyond brushes and pins. I’m your calm in the chaos, your hype girl, your dress-doer-upper, veil fixer, tie helper, shoe finder, and emotional support on one of the most important mornings of your life.

My journey into cosmetic tattooing began back in 2016, when I trained with an international academy in the manual method known as microblading. From there, my love for learning (and brows!) only grew. Over the years I continued to train and advance into machine methods, expanding into brows, lips, and eyeliner cosmetic tattooing. Alongside this, I worked for many years with Benefit Cosmetics, a brand renowned for brows, where I saw first-hand just how many people struggled with confidence because of them. I was constantly recommending cosmetic tattooing to clients, helping them feel better about themselves, and one day it hit me — why wasn’t I doing this myself? Making people feel good has always been my passion, not just at work but in everyday life. I thrive on positivity, and cosmetic tattooing allows me to bring real joy into people’s lives. For many, it’s truly life-changing. One of my most meaningful moments was receiving a message from a client who told me that for the first time, she could sit and eat breakfast with her children instead of stressing over her eyebrows. She had been deeply self-conscious, and through this journey, she gained not only her confidence back but precious time with her children — time we all know goes by far too fast. Choosing this path was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and as techniques and technology continue to evolve, so do I — because learning never stops, and every day really is a learning day.
